Sophie discovered her love for performance at the age of twelve when she joined a local theatre group, quickly finding a home on the stage. Over the years she has taken on a wide range of roles, with favourites including The Tempest, Daisy Pulls It Off, Noises Off, and The 39 Steps.
These productions helped shape her comedic timing, physical storytelling, and passion for character-driven work.
While theatre ignited her interest in acting, Sophie found a new creative energy in front of the camera after collaborating with Macroverse Films on several short films. This experience revealed her love for the intimacy and detail of screen acting, inspiring her to pursue more film-focused projects.
She is currently filming the feature-length production Amelia, in which she plays the co-lead—a role that continues to challenge and excite her as she grows her career in film.
