Inhabitants of a small village in Hungary deal with the effects of the fall of Communism. The town's source of revenue, a factory, has closed, and the locals, who include a doctor and three couples, await a cash payment offered in the wake of the shuttering. Irimias, a villager thought to be dead, returns and, unbeknownst to the locals, is a police informant. In a scheme, he persuades the villagers to form a commune with him.

The story unfolds using the Lajtai operetta The Old Summer. The son of landowner János Pataki comes from Sweden to visit his father in Budapest for a month's holiday. The parents are divorced because of a prima donna, and the mother warns her son against operettas and Buda pubs. The young Pataki, with the help of his father, enters the theatre world...

In 18th-century Paris, Jerome Coignard, an abbé who enters a Parisian soup kitchen called the Queen of Goosefoot, takes on the owner's son, James the Impaler, as his apprentice in exchange for a good salary. The abbé, a doctor of theology and a master of the arts, is a man of great learning, adventurous and fond of physical pleasures, who humorously highlights the contradictions between common sense and Catholic beliefs. In the house of D'Astarac, a wealthy alchemist philosopher, he employs the abbot and his disciple to translate ancient Greek texts.

The cartoon series stars Sergeant Dandy, who solves crimes, catches crooks, burglars and thieves like a determined policeman. Dandelion's friends are Peekaboo, Blondie, Kati, and his dog, Marzipan, who also "acts as a siren". With our heroes, you can take part in the discovery of a cave, the capture of a bank robber, the chase of a dangerous conman who deceives people in various costumes and masks, but he can't catch Dandelion. If you watch the series, you'll find out how different manoeuvres can be used to keep children from jumping off the top of a crane. The series also has adventures for the summer, for beachgoers whose clothes have been stolen by a thief and which are of course recovered with the help of our protagonist. And in the episode "Dandy's Day Off", the series draws attention to the dangers of hiring hitchhikers.

The story played by civilian players is laid in a Transdanubian village, where on the initiative of the municipality doctor the local inhabitants wish to build a social welfare home as volunteers, with the support of the local co-operative and the state farm. Having first consented to the plan, the leadership of the county starts opposing the project because of the plan to build a social welfare home called the City of the Happy Aged to be established by the county. Both parties take the field for their ideas and the battle starts.

Mocorgó, the well-meaning worker boy, is a tough guy. In his 40s he is still a mechanic's apprentice, but he is disappointed by his family, women and friends, and becomes a criminal. He goes to prison several times and tells the story of his life to the writer, who follows his story until 1956, until Mocorgó's death.

The film is set in 1939, just before the outbreak of World War II. Alfréd Gontrán is a bar dancer and silk boy who, in the course of his adventurous and dubious life, tries out many different ways of making a living and earning a living, until he is finally found to be a reliable gentleman in a country drifting towards fascism, and is given the honour of representing the new order.

In Ervin Lázár's story, which combines elements of fairy tale and reality, Peti moves the old lion, who goes by the name of Szigfrid Bruckner, into the abandoned barn. Peti later takes pity on the lonely lion and, with Viktor's help, sets out to free Szilvia, Szigfrid's partner, who is imprisoned in a circus. The operation is a success, but Peti's father decides to demolish the barn. Viktor and Gabriella do everything they can to stop the plan, but eventually Peti's father changes his mind and the inhabitants of the boy's imagination can live happily ever after in the abandoned barn.

The story of three sisters at the beginning of the 20th century who choose different paths to happiness after the death of their parents. While Ilona tries to keep the family business together and help her sisters, Jolánka and Anna see in men and marriage a way out. Three different female destinies, three archetypes and three excellent young actresses appear in Imre Mihályfi's film.

The upmarket but financially strapped industrialist catches two burglars red-handed. The younger one soon turns out to be a wealthy man who is robbing millions more just for a gentleman's passport. The manufacturer offers the burglar a partnership in his company...

The unskilled, jack-of-all-trades András and his wife, Éva are put in jail for serial work-place thefts, -committed in order to try to ensure a normal living standard for his family - and for aggravated assault committed for self-defence, respectively. Their two small children are put in state care, then given to foster parents. András, still in prison, commits everything to help the released Éva get hold of an apartment and get their children back so that when he will have served his term the family could be together again.

A young man offers his services through a newspaper advertisement: Mr Psimth takes care of everything. A man approaches him and asks him to steal his aunt's precious brilliant necklace. Mr.Psmith arrives at the castle and realises that all the guests there want the jewels. The young man exposes the company and takes a wife instead of the necklace.

Karinthy's best-known and most popular work to date is So You Write. It was this work that made him famous, and it was with this work that he had his first real, great success. The most popular characters of the series of caricatures, which was formed by café games and mockery of his peers, are quoted with the greatest figures of the Hungarian theatre.

The protagonist was sent to South America after the war. Now he is back home and wants to meet his old love. At the same time, he takes on the job of looking after his in-laws' children, two very bad boys, while their parents are on holiday abroad. What will become of it? Anyone who meets the "fantastic aunt" at the beginning of the film, as well as Huba and Csaba, will have an inkling.

King Tobiah, the ruler of the country of Dinom-danom, announces a pancake-making competition for the girls of the area. He is supposed to give his son to the one who makes the best pancakes. As it is in fairy tales: the enterprising girls all fail. Not so for Pigeon-eyed Ladybird, who wins the competition, but she doesn't want the prince... Meanwhile, Derelye, the evil chef who is destroying countries with his gang, is plundering the larder of the country of Dínom-dánom, but Prince Elias (Lajos Balázsovits) is determined to put an end to the wastefulness and thievery. He is aided by Csöröge, the loyal fool, and the pancake-making skills of Kökényeyűű Katica are of great help in the fight.

On the road between Enyed and Felvinc, on the bank of a stream, stand two huge willow trees. They are a historical memory. This memory is recalled in the story, from the time of the Kuruc-Laban war. It shows how the students of the college saved the town.
