Captain Logan and Vince travel the Midwest interviewing store owners and customers at ten different comic shops to gauge the climate of independent comic retail culture.

A world weary and disgruntled 60 year old Captain Logan procures a time machine from a relunctant Brandon Grimm to travel back to 1996 and stop himself from reviewing superhero movies, which will become unwatchable by 2044. But will he create a worse future than he can imagine in the process? And what is Doomsvince's stake in this ill-conceived plan?
