Everything is going well between Teixeirinha and Mary Terezinha. They are finishing a film, and she is pregnant and happy. However, during a routine check-up, Teixeirinha discovers that Mary has leukemia and could die if not treated soon. Desperate, but trying to hide the truth, he sends for an American specialist who confirms the diagnosis. Accidentally, Mary learns about the illness and asks a doctor friend for her opinion. In the meantime, Teixeirinha relives the suffering of when he lost his mother and appeals to faith. He consults a spiritual healer who says that a kind woman with a beautiful smile could help him. Immersed in so many memories, he goes to the Sanctuary of Fatima in Portugal to see if he can find the path to Mary's cure.

This time, Teixeirinha faces great challenges, having to complete 7 tests, including jumping off the Guaíba Bridge in search of a lost treasure and winning the heart of a beautiful young woman. Music, romance and lots of humor, accentuated by the performance of Chilean comedian Jimmy Pipiolo. The setting is the city of Porto Alegre.

One day, a fishing couple finds a crate on the seashore containing a child. They decide to raise the girl, convinced that she is the daughter of Iemanjá, judging by her origins. Meanwhile, Teixeirinha, a famous singer and composer, is experiencing a period of profound isolation due to the death of his wife. Because he composed a beautiful song in homage to the goddess of the waters, Iemanjá, she takes pity on him, sending her daughter to ease his pain and encourage him to compose again for the joy of his people. Amidst encounters and partings, the ending is surprising, as love doesn't always conquer pain. Or does it?
